One thing you can do right now to improve circulation is to stop smoking. If you’re a smoker, the carbon monoxide in tobacco reduces your body’s ability to carry oxygen. Nicotine also raises your blood pressure. Stop smoking now, and your circulation can improve quicker than you might think.

Move Around More

Getting plenty of exercise and keeping fit will keep your circulation healthy. Spending too long sitting at your desk isn’t good for you. As well as keeping fit, you should try to do things like stand up and stretch to avoid long periods of being stationary.

Change Your Diet

Adding some things to your diet could help to improve your circulation. Eating foods rich in iron helps your blood to be better at transporting oxygen. Some people recommend drinking tea because it’s full of antioxidants.

Take Supplements

There are some supplements you might take to get the vitamins and minerals you need for good circulation. Astaxanthin can contribute to better circulation, among other benefits. Some people also recommend ginkgo biloba.
