Beautiful Feet

Every woman would like to have healthy and beautiful feet. To have pretty feet we should care whole year. Most of us forget about this part of body in winter and pay attention to face, hands and body. Feet are dry and cracked. During winter also it’s easy to get fungal infection. Warm boots, wet feet from sweat, thick socks are best conditions for growing up fungal microorganisms.

Finally it’s time to say good bye to winter and welcome spring. It’s time to change boots to open toe shoes and flip flops.  As the warmer season arrives, as our feet are the most visible in the spring and summer season, so it is very important to treat them with proper care.

Devote some time and effort to achieve success.

1. Remove Toenail Polish.

It’s best to use a non-acetone polish remover. Polish removers containing acetone are very harsh on your toenails. On nails without nail varnish, you can notice if your toenails have problems. Don’t keep constantly painted, because it may cause your nails to become discolored. Sometimes give your nails a break from color.

2. Soak Your Feet.

Soaking for 15 minutes can do wonders and relax your tired feet after hard day. You may add aromatherapy salts with few droops nice smelling essential oils (if you don’t suffer on allergy) or oils to the water. Remember to not use water that is too hot, because this will cause your skin to dry out more. Only if you have an open sore on your foot, check with your doctor before soaking.

3. Invest In Good Cream.

After winter our feet need intensive care with good cream that it is rich in urea and acids. The urea till 10% moisturizes, but in higher concentration exfoliate. The most common acids contained in creams are: lactic, mandelic and salicylic that soften and smooth.

4. Remove Calluses and Corns.

Removing callouses prevents from sore cracks in your skin. This is a very important step of foot care that keeps your skin soft and smooth. Use a pumice stone or callous file. This process needs a few trimmings before you are able to remove all of the hard skin. You should trim your corns and callouses only after soaking, because they will be softer and easier to trim.

5. Trim Toenails.

Use a stainless steel nail nipper. You should cut always your toenails straight across and then gently round the corners with an emery board. You can push your cuticles back with wooden stick or towel after soaking. You should not cut cuticles, because then you will open way for infective microorganisms. After soaking nails are softer and then it is easier to trim.

6. Stop the Sweating.

Excessive sweating is a breeding ground for fungus and odor. Buy anti-perspirant (like you use on your underarms). Make sure that it is an anti-perspirant and not a deodorant. A deodorant gives only nice smell, but anti-perspirant absorbs sweat. If odor is a problem, get a shoe insert that has charcoal as an ingredient. It helps to absorb odors.

7. Every Day Apply Cream and Massage.

Cream is necessary to moisturize your skin. Apply it after soaking. Take the time to massage your feet as you apply the cream. Your feet will thank you. You can wrap your feet in saran wrap after applying the cream. This lets the cream to absorb better.

8. Choose Shoes.

Choose your shoes wisely. Pay attention to buy comfortable shoes that fit well on your feet to avoid ending up with blisters or bunions. Beautiful but ill-fitting shoes can do more harm than good to your feet. Determine your shoe size and buy shoes that are not too tight on your toes.

9. Swimming pool.

If you go often on swimming pool, your feet can get a fungal infection. Use cream with tea tree oil as prevention.

If you notice itching changes, visit your doctor. You may need specialist treatment.
