Best Ways To Prevent Endometriosis

Endometriosis is a chronic, painful disorder in which the tissue that normally lines the uterus (called the endometrium) starts growing outside the uterus. Endometriosis most commonly involves your ovaries, bowels or the tissue lining your pelvis. It can also spread outside your pelvic region.

No one has understood the exact cause of endometriosis; but some contributing factors include: Disorder in uterine tissues, hormonal imbalances, and genetics.

Endometriosis is often found on the ovaries, fallopian tubes, outer surface of the uterus and tissues that hold uterus in its proper place. It is a gynecological problem which affects approximately 176 million women and girls worldwide.Women of all ages are at risk for endometriosis. Normally, it affects women from age 25 to 40.

Endometriosis is the most common in women with infertility than a fertile woman.

2. Alternating Hot and Cold Sitz bath

A sitz bath is a bath in which water is taken in a wash tub or bath tub to cover the buttocks, upper thighs and lower abdomen.Hot sitz baths can be taken for 3 to 8 minutes. During a hot sitz bath, a cool washcloth placed on the forehead.

Cold sitz baths can also be taken for 3 to 8 minutes.

5. Regular Exercise

Exercise and yoga is the best method to alleviate stress from an individual’s mind. These two can prove to be really effective and helpful in managing endometriosis.

6. Omega-3 Fatty Acids:

Omega-3 fatty acids are powerful inflammation fighters.

Omega-3 fatty acids are found in fish such as salmon, mackerel, sardines, and anchovies. They are also available in fish oil capsules. Several studies have found that omega-3 fatty acids are beneficial for people suffering from endometriosis. Omega 3 fatty acids lower the omega 6 s which is abundantly found in junk foods that causes inflammation in endometriosis.

7. Ashwagandha:

Ashwagandha is widely used in stress reduction.If we get stressed, it affects all our hormones, including the thyroid, progesterone levels, estrogens levels etc. Ashwagandha regulates the stress levels in our bodies.

8. Ginger Tea:
